Online Educator Development Course
This is a three-tiered training course for online educators. Tier I covers the basic information and skills one needs in order to facilitate an online course. Tiers II and III focus on utilizing instructional technology, course design, and online pedagogies.
Course Template
This course was designed specifically to assist faculty in creating courses that meet the Quality Matters standards. By using the course template, faculty are approximately halfway to meeting all of the requirements to have a course certified.
Virtual Learning Guide
All distance students at NW-SCC must complete this orientation. The feedback we have received from students has been overwhelmingly positive.
Virtual Professional Development
Faculty have the opportunity to attend professional development sessions on-demand with this course. The course is comprised of a collection of recorded live sessions. Each video has associated guided notes, presentation slides, quiz, and a reflection activity.
